Scanning Prescriptions

All new prescriptions, Limited Use forms etc,  must be scanned including HOLDS.

1.  Enter and process prescriptions as per normal.

2.  Return to the Workbench and select the Completed tab.

3.  Ensure no transactions are selected, highlight the transaction (multiple transaction can be selected from the same patient) to be attached to the prescription image.

4.   Select RX  , then Attachments,  (wait a few seconds as there is a delay), then Scan Document.  Place the document FACE DOWN in the scanner and click okay.  Ensure the document is being pulled by the scanner.

5.  To link other transactions to scanned transaction.  Highlight the transaction with the scanned document attached to it.   Click RX, Attachments then Link.  Click View Profile then select the transactions to be linked to the scanned document.

Transaction with a scanned document attached will have a paper clip symbol beside it.  Double click the paper clip to view the document.
